Enrolments are Now Open for Years 7 to 10 in 2026

Applications for enrolment are now open for students enrolling in Year 7, 8, 9 & 10 for the 2026 academic school year at Piara Waters Senior High School. The school has accommodation for students where their usual place of residence is within the school’s local intake area (LIA) at the time the enrolment commences.

As a local intake school, we offer guaranteed enrolment to students residing within our designated local intake area. We believe in fostering strong connections with our local community, and when students enrol at Piara Waters SHS, they become part of a supportive and inclusive school community that values collaboration, respect, and academic excellence. We offer a wide range of academic programs, extracurricular activities, and support services to cater to the diverse interests and needs of our students.

All enrolments into Piara Waters Senior High School are guided by the School Education Act (1999) and associated Department of Education policies. Decisions made on all enrolment applications are made in accordance with these processes; and are based on key criteria such as:

    • the age of the student
    • residential location in relation to the local intake area.
    • visa status
    • educational needs

As such, it is important that the following documentation is submitted at point of application.

  1. Your child’s birth certificate  – telephone the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages on 1300 305 021 if you do not have one
  2. Your child’s Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Statement – available on MyGov or by telephoning 1800 653 809
  3. Three (3) proof of address documents – e.g. utility bill (water, electricity, gas), rental agreement, proof of property ownership, driver’s licence, council rates or tenancy agreement
  4. Two (2) most recent school reports and latest NAPLAN results
  5. A copy of your Medicare card and Health Care card (if relevant)
  6. Any further relevant documentation – for example learning support requirements, Family Court orders, access restrictions, change of name declarations or medical plans

For Students not born in Australia, please also provide:

  1. A copy of the child’s passport, including date of entry into Australia
  2. Australian Citizenship certificate (if applicable)
  3. A copy of the child’s Visa subclass notice – from the Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO) system (if applicable)

OUT OF BOUNDARY & INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ENROLMENTS

Please contact the Administration Team on 6174 2777 if you live outside of the Piara Waters SHS local intake area but wish to make application. You are advised to submit an application at your local high school.
